being a Lennon fan for the last 35 years I watched Lennon Naked a few weeks back and I was stunned at how well (IMHO) Chris portrayed John. Since then I have managed to get my hands on other films and series he did (thanks for getting me hooked on Dr Who) and have to say he's an astonishing actor with an admirable conviction to his work. I wanted to thank you for the shared audio clips. I love listening to his voice even though it took me a bit to get a hang of the accent. This is a very nice website and a great tribute to a "bloody fantastic bloke"

Nice to see someone else agrees with this sentiment; and the regeneration thing is — as you say — up for debate. You’re potentially right as far as his not necessarily checking his image; I’ve yet to see any regeneration where the doctor checked out what he looked-like, other than the feeling-of-the face (a’la Tennant’s ‘ooo. I’ve got a mole. On my back’ comment :)

But correct me if I’m wrong; it’s been a while since I saw a regeneration sequence other than Eccleston into Tennant!

I think your website is really great. Always thought C.E. was a great actor, but since I've seen him in Dr. Who I even really like him as well. He always plays these gloomy sorts of characters, but in Dr. Who he really turns out to be quite funny as well.
