Their out of sight for just a little while.

And you all will miss their touch and their big hearty smiles.

But you know in your hearts that they are safe in the Home above.

Where there is nothing but continuous Peace and Love.

My husband is from Cleveland (born and raised!) He was friends and went to school with one of Eddie Levert's nephews. I met my husband in 1983 and he told me about Eddie Levert's sons being singers and that the older son, Gerald, sounds exactly like him! He would go on and on about Gerald and that one day he was going to be this BIG singing sensation! Well, when I heard "Pop Pop" I ran to the store and purchased "Bloodline". Like I said before, everything he ever did ... I have it! I saw him and Levert everytime they were in the NY/NJ area. Some folk even say my husband resembles Gerald (a little bit)...hmmmmmm. And to you G-Bear ... I miss you more and more everyday. But I know you are sining with the angels in heaven. Luv ya, always ...

I remember when the O'Jays had a concert downtown back in the early 80's. Eddie promised the audience a real good treat during intermission. He said he wanted to bring out his sons group and let them sing a song that they wrote. He wanted to know what we thought about it and wanted his hometown to be the first to hear it. The song was Pop, Pop, Pop Goes My Mind. Needless to say, after that I was hooked.

I just want to say may gerald rest in peace.
Gerald was truly a beautiful soul and he will
be truly missed. Sadly I have never met Gerald
in person,but he seemed just like a regular person which I credit his parents for raising
a all around grounded person. I pray that his soul can rest and that God allowed him to see the impact he had on people lives that he had never even met. Rest in peace my good friend in christ and may we hear you say hello again.
