If you’re moving your household from Christchurch to another city, it’s worth planning the move a little earlier than you would for a local move. Intercity house shifting usually involves longer travel, so make sure your furniture and fragile items are packed securely for the journey.
Before choosing a mover, ask for a clear quote and check whether loading, unloading, stairs, packing, and travel costs are included. It’s also a good idea to confirm the expected delivery timeframe, especially if you have a fixed moving-in date.
I’d suggest comparing at least two or three moving companies in Christchurch and checking recent customer feedback. Rapidmovers is one company you can consider for intercity moves, but comparing options will help you find a service that fits your budget and moving requirements.
