2 step micro tig welder

I have seen, somewhere and heard about a new type of micro tig welder that uses a 2 step process for repairing very small areas on molds that does not create damaging heat. I guess the wire is tacked on first with a spot weld and then tig welded using a pulse weld.
Anybody know where I can get more information on this welder? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert

Re: 2 step micro tig welder

The welder you are referring to is called X-CYTATION.
It is distributed by PPT. ( Professional Polishing Tools )
The machine uses a 2 step process for producing professional weld repairs, in-house by your own maintenance people. It is a 100% homogeneous weld that will not flake off, chip, leave scale or sink lines. There is no pre heat necessary and when the welding process is complete, the repaired area is cool to the touch!
This is accomplished by tacking the filler wire at the opposing sides of the damaged area. A flip of a switch puts the machine in the micro tig mode. The pulse tig operation is initiated by a foot or hand switch. Each time the switch is actuated, one pulse of the tig is generated.
For more information and a demo cd, contact PPT Associates @ 1-866-PRO TOOL. The X-CYTATION can be seen on our web site www-pro-polishing-tools.com.

Wow, now that's got to be embarrassing, asking a question and giving an answer to you own bogus question.
Thanks for the good laugh.
