Hi,

i have 2 problems :

1) i am woking in software company as sysadmin. I will be completing almost 4 yrs there, but i am not more confident abt my work. My college who has joined 1.5 yrs back is doing quite well and so everybody praises him and ignores me. I try to do more hard work but i cant cum 2 his level..what shoud i do? i dont find that vison/passion abt my work as that fellow is having..by for this job i hv compromised my social life, friends etc..i dont want 2 leave this job now but want to acquire more good position .. whaat should i do?

2) i am not able to devote any time for my social life and hence lost almost all friends....now i am almost lonely..what should i do to connect 2 my friends?they think that i am not int in keeping touch with them but i think that going with them somewhere is waste of time.. wt shoud i do?

Hi! I guess I just have alot of questions for you.
You say you are not confident about your work. You compare yourself to a colleague. Do you want help building your confidence?
You feel you have given up alot to have this job. Did you decide that now you want the things you have given up?
You want to acquire a better position. What would that look like? What would be better about it? More money, more respect from others, less fear of being found out as not competent?
Is this about finding and following your passion? Do you imagine that once you find your passion you will have the confidence to give up everything again and follow it?
I'd love to hear more about what you are thinking...

yes i do want help in building my confidence..i want that i should be equally treated as my college..he is somewhat selfisha nd oversmart..ya i want 2 find my passion to..i cant concentrate on one work at atime..so my work dont get finish early..kindly help me...
