Just purchased a 2002 Mac 26X. Have not had much time to sail her yet. Even in Florida the winters can be pretty blustery.

Hello,

I enjoyed your descriptions of your sailing adventures. I noticed that you were not happy with you visit to Lake Wallenpaupack. I do understand that it may not compare with the bigger lakes in NY but if you come back I will gladly provide you with some tips and locations to explore.

We have many events during the summer and we welcome you to join us in one of our races which we have every other Sunday. It is a cruiser club and we have a fleet just for us slow boats.

Check out our adventures at our web site. www.paupacksailingclub.com

I hope to see more of your adventures.

Great site! Looking to get a Mac26s - thrilled to see they can safely sail to the Carib! Retiring in 5 months and intend to do some adventure sailing: San Juans & NW Inner Passage, Erie Canal & Great Lakes, Maine & E coast - and now maybe the Carib!

The Dry Tortugas trip is a dream of mine aboard my 26x along with exploration of the Great White Heron NWR and Everglades. Thus far, I haven't succeeded in finding like-minded partners. Should the Conch Cruisers go back, please include me in your planning phase! You did a great job on the videos. Take care, Frank

Well done! I'd love to see the longer hi-res version. You should consider marketing a DVD. We sail a Mac Venture Newport 23 and the trips you are making are what we are planning. It is reassuring to me to see others with relatively small sailboats going places with them.
I hope you will post more of your adventures.

Hey, your website is just AWESOME, particularly the Dry Tortugas trip. To be quite honest, your Conch Cruiser web pages helped me make the decision to finalize purchase of a brand new Mac26M, which I will be taking possession of after the 2009 Miami Boat Show. Are the Conch Cruisers accepting membership applications? I have not been able to find anything later than the 2007 Bimini trip on line. We would very much like to develop an affiliation with your group, if possible.

Thanks for a really great website! (PS We really enjoy your Nautical Bell!!!

Sincerely

Chip Southerland
