fairly new fan here! i bought compared to that last year after hearing you (and being dumbfounded at your skills) at berks jazz festival last year. am back again at berks and was thrilled by your contributions to the be-bop jam last night and the all-star jam tonight. (is it really legal to do what you do with a bass? wow!) cannot wait to explore the jobim cd i picked up tonight!

Originally was managing a Music Store in Palo Alto, CA when I was turned on to "How Late Do Ya Play For" LP. Then, on that album, the cut, oh crap!...the one where you are basically warning your gal what will happen if she "does you wrong"...one of the coolest performances I've ever heard! I was SOLD! I might be able to scrounge the dough to take my wife and catch your show...sure would love that!

Hi Brian, I remember you in the early 80's. You probably don't remember me,but I used to work for your father( a good man he was) at his salon. I met you there. I remember your dad telling me how hard you worked and how much you were struggling to get the recognition you deserved. I am sure glad to see that you finally got that recognition and I can bet my bottom dollar that your dad was very proud of you. My hat's off to you sir.
