hi all, am having problems verifying a google verifying code , ive tryed useing the meg tag and the html, when i try to upload it to the ftp file nothing is happending it just says transfering but doesnt transfere,i know this is something simple but after 3 days of trying and banging my head against the floor am now asking for help lol where am i going wrong

This may be just my being ignorant, but what is a "meg tag"? I tried googling it, but apart from a couple of tagboards belonging to people called Meg, I couldn't find it. (Well, there was a "meg tag generator", which sounded promising. But it was for use on "webe pages".)

And you seem to have a Wizard site, just how does ftp enter into that?

Google give you two options for submitting the verification code. If you have a Wizard site you can ONLY use the text file option.

if you are using wizard, I think you may not use ftp to upload files.
build your site using any external editor and then upload your files and google verification file using ftp.
