Animated GIF Picture

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this... but is there a way to see the "code" for an animated gif picture? I have a gif of a Christmas Tree with twinkling lights and I would really like to see how this works. I'd like to maybe create some of my own too at some point, but I'm not sure how to even look at or edit this.

Sorry, I'm new to a lot of this. My background is in business mainframe databases/apps. I'm just playing around and trying to learn.

Thanks!

Re: Animated GIF Picture

Well, you can view the "code", but I am not sure that is what you are after. The question you are asking can be read as having a very simple answer or a very complicated one. I answer the one that is on my level.

The way it works is that you create two or more ordinary gifs. When you enter them into a program like animation shop, the gifs becomes frames in the animated gif.

If you mean "How does animation shop do this, and how do you program browsers to recognize and display them?", you have to wait for someone more qualified to answer.

Re: Animated GIF Picture

It isn't something you can hand code. You use specialist software, as recommeded by Corwings, to build up the animation. The saved file goes on your web page just like a normal image file.

Re: Animated GIF Picture

This is not a big problem because there are many software we are seeing in the market which give us this facility and other work capability.

Re: Animated GIF Picture

I Think there are now many software in markets that allow some more new types of this and we should try for it.
