Recently somebody told me they recieved a virus (trojan) while on my site I had a look at the coding on my index page and noticed there was a script which I did not install so deleted and all was fine but now it has re-appeared. Is someone 'hacking' into my site?

(I haven't put my URL on as I don't want anyone to get a virus!!!)

maybe you have the free hosting and there is something in the area with the banners etc.

you can't remove that part if you have free hosting here at bravenet or the free subdomain or such


Since really don't know too much here to really go unless you put something on your site that is issue with people getting viruses.

I would be careful with anything you might link on your site or more things

You didn't tell us what host you are using. But if, as suggested, it is a "free" host, it is almost certainly paid for by advertising. There is an obnoxious ad for some kind of security software that flashes a bogus virus alert at you. Do the people who warned you know what they are talking about? (Just one possibility, don't count on it being right)
