am failing to upload a file that is 15MB, is there a limit to file upload size

File size isn't an html issue.

Some web hosts limit file size or file type. (Bravenet do with free but not with paid hosting).

A lot depends on the upload speed that you ISP gives you. Remember that upload speeds are a fraction of download speed, and the download speed that you get is normally a lot less than that advertised. With a big file, and 15 meg is big, there is a real risk of the upload simply timing out.

I am trying to upload photos and it comes up cannot uploead a picture mor than 1MB. what can i do

pictures are not even supposed to be 1mb

if you have pictures that large then better get irfanview or some graphics program to optimize/resize your photos

then when you get them down to the size pictures should be you can then upload them again


but pictures as said NEVER should be even 1mb or larger in size



if uploading a file as well will have to use FTP and not the applet or such that doesn't work all that well.


Don't know what you are uploading that is 15mb either
