strange characters appearing in the coding

Hi
I completed my website several weeks ago but viewing it today online some apostrophes or hyphens have been replaced by strange characters including ?!?.

Its bizarre and I can't see why this would happen when I've not made any changes to the coding!

Any ideas on why this would happen?
