Linking pages

I am using a template that I am trying to modify. I just am in the process of understanding coding. I am trying to put links on page buttons that go across at the top. Below is the coding that the template has for this:

Obviously, a line needs a link to, for example, contactme.html on the 4th button. Like where and how do I put this link to the Contact Me page in the above coding? All I get is the name in each botton of the unordered list above with no link working wherever I place it in the code of a line. I have no idea what the # does above. Is this tied to the CSS style sheet? I have read everything that Bravenet has put out on links. I have hit the wall here. Help!

Re: Linking pages

where it says "#" you replace # with contactme.html
