When I first built the website it was fins and the pound signs showed fine but after altering the prices they keep coming out as question marks in diamonds, although the HTML is showing £ signs..is there anything I can do?
Because your site is set to use the utf-8 charset.
Three choices:
1. Change the charset to iso-8859-1
2. use the html code £
3. Use the standard 3 character representation for the currency - GBP
the iso-8859-1 didn't work, it changes did the £ sign ok but altered other charectors aswell, so opted to use the "£" method.
I did notice on one page where the pound sign was still showing the, the html showed an "A" with a "^" above it (sort of Fench looking charector), then the pound sign. If this worked then how would I get an A with an upside down V on top, or is the £ route quicker way of doing it anyway?
