I have put together a chamber of commerce website. One of the perks of membership is having a link-through to the member website.

Is there a tracking code that I can implement to track the click throughs?

I know there is an asp code but I don't know asp and thought there may be an html version of some kind.

We do have googl analytics but it doesn't account for clicks to micro-sites.

Hope someone can help resolve this important aspect of the chamber site.

you'd have to use a serverside script of some sort. if not asp, then php or something else like that. html is static and is not powerful enough to do that task.

Hi and thanks ... I found what looks like a good script but now I don't know how to set it up as I am clueless to php, msql etc

There are dozens of pages to pour through and I've tried to understand but I don't.

I have saved the script, unzipped it and set up a php account. When I try to import the script is won't because of errors, but I know from their forum that others aren't having any problems at all.

I am stymied.
