Hi there im not that great with html and stuff and was wondering if this was possible and if so can some1 make a script for me? :P well first of all is it possible for people to be able to uplad stufff to my website and second my school wants me to make a thing for them where like students login then upload there homework then the teachers can login and view all the homework? pls help me with this thx

there are different options depending on if you have a free hosted site, or paid hosted site.

with the free one, you are limited to the file types that can be uploaded to it. you can sign up and use the password gate for part 2.

with a paid host, there are several scripts out there that can perform all your requirements.

hmm... so its not possible free... About how much will it cost me like per month or year for the one that costs and can bravenet do that if i pay?

before spending any money, you may want to research what is available and what type of skills are required. it will take a bit of scripting knowledge to install/maintain the items your are talking about.

for a true password protection, you would need to learn about htaccess files. try a google search for it.

that is a pretty sophisticated piece of coding. As already stated be sure you are up to it before parting with money.

There are also hosted services for file sharing which will manage everything for you, providers include both MSN and Yahoo.

I am trying to accomplish the same thing for a chamber website. The administrator will have to add, delete information as needed and I don't want her/him messing with the html coding of the site.

What I need is some way to have them make changes on pages specific to them,ie: event updates, add new members etc and have it 'show up' on the website.

Advise would be appreciated on this as well as I think it may be the same issue.
