Re: Domain name

I have always ignored these "Domain Registry of America" and similar solicitations. Apparently they send these notices when your domain is nearing renewal (that is public information), and attempt to entice the domain owner to switch to their own registry.

Re: Domain name

I have to agree with macmac. I am always aware of with what firm each of my domain names is registered, and I ignore any "notices" (i.e., spam) from any other firms.

I checked your domain name with the whois service at networksolutions.com, and I see that the registration was done through PublicDomainRegistry, and that it will be expiring on the 19th of February. If you want to keep that domain name in service, it looks like you will need to renew it with your current registrar, since it is still in "Locked" status.

I believe that if you want to move the domain name to a different registrar, you have missed the window of opportunity to do that, and will have to wait at least 60 days after you renew it.
