creating a html newsletter

Hi,

I just tried sending a custom html to myself by previewing it , however none of the images appeared (only red crosses)whe i opened it in yahoo mail. I suspect i may need to load the saved newsletter to my web server first?? (server is outside bravenet) and then send it. ? It is a non-plain text newsletter that im trying to build. I copied and pasted from dreamweaver to the bravenet step by step guide however seem to be unsuccesful.

Could you advise me as how to show images on html newsletter??

thanks for your time
steve

Re: creating a html newsletter

Your images you used must be uploaded to
a site that allows remote image loading first.
If your host does not allow remote image loading you can use photobucket
to host your newsetter images.

You then use your online urls
in your newsletter html tags.

Re: creating a html newsletter

Too complicated for me... and probably for most people without more information. Are the images sent as attachments, or are you linking to images hosted somewhere? If so, where?

At any rate, not everyone uses emailsystems that let them see what you see when things seem to work perfectly. I sometimes get these emails with lots of attachments. When I open them one by one, I find logos, background, etc. Don't really mind, if the text is what is important.

An alternative is to simply make a webpage of the newsletter, and mail people the link.
