Adding Google ads to website

How do I put google ads on my website. I have the code but when I paste it onto my website it just appears as code.

Re: Adding Google ads to website

You are pasting as text instead of pasting as code. How you switch depends on which web editor you are using.

Re: Adding Google ads to website

paste them after clicking code editor tab of website wizard

Re: Adding Google ads to website

Most people wish they could get rid of ads and you're wanting to add them?

Re: Adding Google ads to website

As Stephen said, it depends on what editor you are using.

References to the Wizard only apply if your site is hosted at Bravenet and you used their Wizard to build your site.

not quite

If you have an ad-free hosting service then the careful placement of adsense ads can earn you a little money without being as intrusive as third party banner ads. Having said that the ads on my home page should perhaps be a bit more "in your face" as I get very few clicks on them.

Re: Re: Adding Google ads to website

Most people with web sites want advertising on their site so that they can make a profit from the site rather than it costing them money.

The only people who wish they could get rid of the ads are the people using "free" web hosting where someone else is making a profit from the ads.
