I'm putting up my first website, using the visual editor. I've made two pages, but can't seem to get a link between them to work. I'm pretty new to this, but I thought I just had to click the link button, put in the name of my page and it would link it to my highlighted spot? What am I doing wrong?
That sounds like your doing it correctly. You highlight the text/graphic to link, click the link button, enter the name of the page, and click OK. Then, of course, you save you work.
Can you see that the text/graphic is highlighted after the link is created? What did you use for the page name? Did you enter the name and the extension, or just the name? Did you make sure it matched exactly? No spaces or funny characters, upper/lower case, etc.. If you could give us a little more information, like a URL so we can see for ourselves, we might be able to help further.
