I'm from Brazil and we use accents in our texts. What I have to do, for example, to show in my page the word "Seção" and not "Se=$o" ?

In html there are special codes for accented letters, the one I use most commonly being é giving é

I lost all my links to directories of these when I changed PCs and know the ones I need regularly by heart. Google will find you an up to date list.

If you are working in a Bravenet service then contact Bravenet as they may be able to make changes to the character set so that you can use your normal keyboard controls. (They certainly can and do for forums)
