How do I use the themes

I am finding it very difficult to alter things like the buttons, and the "Site Logo" on the provided themes can someone please help? I used to be into website building now I am getting back into it and doing it for a new business so I REALLY need to brush up my skill before they realize I only know more then they do because they know nothing so... Please Help

Although I've not used it for graphic editing yet, I've seen people recommend this IrfanView

It's a free graphic editor...thats what you use

Yea I have major issues with free online templates. I tried to get them off the internet but when i tried to set them up they require a .psd file for photoshop and the free account for bravenet doesn't accept .psd files so I dunno what i'm gonna do.
I have been considering getting Adobe Go Live, i already have Photoshop 7 and Flash 5 but i don't think its enuf and I heard dreamweaver is for n00bs....
