Bravehost and Frames

I am trying to put up a webpage here and my main page is set in frames and for some reason nothing shows up on my main page.

Oh. Since there is no URL or anything, I suppose you don't want any help? Bravehost doesn't really support frames on free sites, but as far as I know that is just because the advertising banner appears in every frame. Nothing appearing will probably have some other cause.

The "blank screen" effect is common on Bravenet free web sites, and is usually caused by poorly constructed frameset pages.

With Bravenet free sites, the server normally keys on your tag, to know when to insert a advertising banner. Frames based web pages don't have, or want, a tag. The frameset happens without a tag. But, part of a frames based web page is suppose to contain a section, for people that don't have frames enabled browsers, and for search engines. The <noframes> structure should have a <body> tag that will let the server insert it's banners properly.<br /> <br /> If you do not include a <noframes> structure that contains a <body> tag, the server has no choice but to insert it's banners at the beginning of your page. Bravenet's banner code includes a complete HTML page structure, which includes a <body> tag. The inclusion of a <body> tag in front of a <frameset> structure, negates everything. The <frameset> will never operate as intended and provides you with a blank page.<br /> <br /> All this is very interesting, <img src="http://images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/8_grim.gif" border="0" alt=""> , but doesn't get around what Corwings said. Bravenet doesn't support frames on free web site.
