When I try to add a background and preview it...it looks awesome but then I publish it and look at it and the background is there but I have a huge spot on my page with ads...and it moves some things on my page around. I know since I have this for free I am going to get ads but is there any way to make them go in a certain place or something? Hope you understand what I mean. Please help me! Maybe I am doing something wrong..whats the html code you use for adding a background? Any advice?

This sounds like you are using a
tag to add a background. But, you are using the Website Wizard. The Wizard doesn't give you access the normal tag so adding one to your content area makes one too many. Your getting the extra ad banners, because the server uses a web pages tag to insert ad banners. Try this link to my Website Wizard help page. Item 5 explains how to add a background when your using the Website Wizard.
