Hi, I'm trying to use a Clickbank image with the Clickbank payment link, but it's not working (Error 404). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm selling an ebook, and the link has to have item and vendor info in it.
I need to replace CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE with a gif I have uploaded to Bravenet named clickbankbutton.gif, and want to have it open in a new window.
The ITEM and VENDOR words will be replaced with Clickbank info - I know how to do that.
Could some kind person give me the actual code I need to accomplish this? I've tried writing the code my way, and tried adding the image first, then clicking to add a link. What am I doing wrong?
Well, shoot!
Let's try that code again with a period first so it actually shows up to read. DUH!
<.ahref="http://ITEM.VENDOR.pay.clickbank.net" target=cb>CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE (then <./a> to close it.
Too simple for me, I guess! When I tried just writing the link simply as: http://ITEM.VENDOR.pay.clickbank.net, it linked just fine. No <'s, no a href's, no "s, no target=. Just plain & simple got the job done - typed my text (CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE), highlighted the text, clicked on the link icon, and typed in the simple code, replaced ITEM with a 1 (my first product), replaced VENDOR with my Clickbank nickname, and it worked!!
Hope that helps someone else who's trying to make things too complicated. [

I just got everything hooked up and linked to Clickbank, and am trying to protect my ebook address. I haven't put it up for sale quite yet....but soon, very soon!
