hi people :D. this is my first time posting here.. I have a Bravenet Guestmap and Guestbook and used to ahve a calendar:P on my site, but when I try to add my counter, the HTML shows up on my page instead of the counter.. Could anyone tell me wot I'm doing wrong :P?

You need to paste directly into the native html of your page. If you can the easiest way is to open the file in Notepad otherwise use whatever html view your web editor provides.
We can only answer the questions you ask. If you need step by step instructions for some specific software there is no point on leaving us to guess what it is.
