Help

Hello, i am not very good with script and what not. I have a forum that is hosted seperate from Bravehost. I am trying to hide the URL address of that forum with something like CLICK FOR FORUM so that i can click on that instead of the URL address. That why it would hide the ugly URL address. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Help

What the heck? It works on this but not on my website, look at www.groupdrei.bravehost.com whats the deal?

Re: Help

I dont know what to tell you, Jimmy-- I checked your site, the code hasn't changed, its still the same as it was before. For some reason, the change you made wasnt saved. If you're using a wizard, there are some other issues to deal with, and I am not able to give you any help as I am unfamiliar with wizards. Anyway we know it will work if you can incorporate the change into your site. I hope someone else can give this a shot

Re: Help

Thanks for the help mac and i have one more question. How do i publish my site using the file manger? You see i have always used the website wizard do to the fact that i have no website programing skills. I only know how to publish my site out of the wizard, is there any other way to publish it? I have gotten the thing to work on the file manager, but every time i publish my site under the website wizard it seems to erase all that i did under the file manager.

Re: Help

Jimmy, as I said, I'm not keen on wizards but I have read enough posts concerning this to know that once you have edited and saved changes in file manager, dont go back to the wizard, otherwise you erase all your changes. when you edit and save changes in file manager, you have effectively "published" your page. Just leave it be. Refresh your browser and check your work.
