I see your using the Website Wizard, so this begs the question, exactly how are you trying to control the color of your links? It's not straight forward when you using the Wizard.
When you use Bravenet's wizard it asks you what colors you want your text/links/visited links/active links to be. Whatever colors you specified when you started your wizard, are the colors your texts will be. To avoid this make your own pages in a builder so you can control the colors of the text. The wizards are good, but restrict your ability to customize.
