Links like that are a bad idea as they expose your address to spammers. It is better to use an email form. If your web host does not provide server side scripting you can use a third party service such as Bravenet's.
If you are determined to have a mailto link then like any other graphic link it is just a matter of wrapping the link code around the img tag.
