I know these are remedial questions....but I can not
figure out 2 things here at bravehost....I cannot get
my background color to work, despite how I've modified and tweaked. I've done it before on my other site...can't do it here! Also, how do you get writing to appear on your buttons....like "home" or "Next Page" (whatever.) Have mercy. I'm a newbie.
If the answers are already posted here, I haven't found them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wait, hold up! I got the background now....it's that
logo thing at the top of the site that says "Your Site.com" is there a way to actually modify it to say my site's name of do I need Premium? Oh, and still have the button probs....Sorry to be dingy.

about the buttons, use the value="" so it looks like this

button type="submit" value="Submit your answer"

(in brackets of course.)
