Re: how to disable the IE menu "view"-"viewsource"

You don't. For one thing, there isn't really a way to do that. Also, I might stumble across your page some day, and I haven't given permission to mess around with how my browser works.

Re: Re: how to disable the IE menu "view"-"viewsource"

javascript can change the function of "view source"
i have seen the script for one time, but forget the url

javascript is bypassed with complete ease..turn off javascript in your browser. End of script.

No, you can't. And you can't disable "File | Save As" either.

Maximum protection for page source

My page above shows you how to apply every form of protection that I have ever seen used in any web page. You can either spend hours applying all of these changes to your page or purchase a program for somewhere between $30 and $200 to do it for you.

With all of the protections supplied your visitors will not be able to instantly view your page source, it will instead take them about 30 seconds to obtain a decrypted copy. Of course applying the changes will also lose you a lot of your potential visitors who don't appreciate your interfering with their browser operation.

For these reasons you will find that none of these techniques are used by any professional web sites (apart from those that make a living from selling this useless software).

Stephen Chapman
