First step: Obtain web hosting if you don't have it already.
Second step: Select a web editor. Most free web hosting services provide a simple editor that can create very simple web pages. If that is all you require then you can use that. Bravenet's is called the Wizard. If you want to have full control over your web pages then select a more powerful web editor to run on your own computer.
Third Step: Use your selected editor to create your page. How you do this will depend on the editor you choose.
Fourth Step: Load your pages to the web. If you use the Wizard (or corresponding editor from other free hosts) then you save/publish your page directly to the site. If you use a different editor with free hosting then you need to use the upload facility provided by the hosting service. If you pay for the hosting you can use any FTP program to upload your site.
