trying to move a website, can't seem to make it work please help!
okay, I have a website on geocities that I am trying to move to bravenet.com. I am trying to move the html code from the geocities site to the bravenet site, but the page does not load properly. Does anyone know what I can do to make this work?

Geocities might accept different coding than bravenet. If so, ask bravenet staff for help by opening a ticket in the bravenet support center: http://support.bravenet.com/

Could be several things as you don't say what exactly is wrong.
The first that comes to mind is frames. They are not supported in the free hosting so if you have a framed page then you are stuck with a redisign before you upload.
Second thought is file names - any files referenced like images and stylesheets must be on the new site and callouts must reference them not the old Geocities location.

Geocities pages have code inserted at the bottom of each page to display the geocities advertising. You need to remove that code before you upload the pages to Bravenet as Bravenet will insert its own advertising code immediately after the body tag.
