I need your help, please. I am updating a website and will have several old pages. Because I have an average of 70 hits her day, I can only assume folks have the site bookmarked... Most of the new pages will have new addresses..

How can I re-direct the vistor, automactically to the new corresponding web page?

In the HEAD section of your page put



The number 5 can be changed to any number you like. It is the number of seconds to wait before the page redirects to the new URL. A value of 0 means redirect immediately.

It is also advisable to put a normal, manual link on the page. What this does is make it easier for search engine spiders to find your new pages.

You're awesome! Thank you. I currently have just over 50 pages on the old site and am attempting to make it a bit more user friendly.

Thanks too about the search engine advise. I currently rank third on certain key keywords and truly don't want to lose that spot.
