I've uploaded two photos from my hard drive on to MY Pictures. There are no directions on how to get them on to my home page. There is an x next to each of the images. Significance?

I don't see any failed images on the link you gave.

The red x appears because the graphics file that you are referencing on the page does not exist at the location you have specified.

Remember all references in html are case sensitive and any embeded blank spaces in file names will cause serious problems.
