That is a very good question! I do not wear shoes for many reasons, primarily because it's extra weight! I also don't like wearing shoes in general...in fact I am often seen out and about without any shoes on at all


I used to wear shoes while racing, but I found that, contrary to belief, my feet usually don't get cold. It's actually nice during the summer to get rid of a little extra clothing. Hope that answers your question.
