Minimum draft angles - Mold-Tech finish spec

I am hoping someone can clear something up for me. I am wondering if the min draft angles specified for a particular finish by Mold-Tech are the total draft suggested for that surface, or if you should add that number to the draft you would typically have on that surface. In other words, is the general rule of thumb, 1.5 degrees per .001" texture depth, the total needed draft, or "in addition to". I understand that all situations are different, I am just concerned with this general rule of thumb.
thanks for any feedback

Re: Minimum draft angles - Mold-Tech finish spec

Chad;

The mold-tech recommendation is the total draft needed to free the part without maring the surface. You can add to that amount if needed for part removal relitive to part geometery.
