I am seeking information about my uncle, Elmer Spencer, who was a member of the Sixth Marine Division. He fought in the battle of Okinawa, and served either as a radioman or radio repairman. He later served as am elected County Prosecuting Attorney for 35 years, and for the last eleven years of his life served as a Common Pleas Judge in Ohio.
