Looking for anyone records on Manly Miles Banister. I believe he was in the 6th Marine Division at Okinawa and possibly the 22nd Marines on Guam and Guadalcanal. My aunt remembers his telling stories but is unclear on the details. I can't find any record of his service beyond his time at Camp LaJeune where his first child was born.
