My grandfather is DC Lawson (84 years old but doing great) and he fought with the 29th regiment on Okinawa. Although his mind is still sharp he wasn't aware of this website until I found it on the internet. He would love to be in contact with any and all veterans of his unit or anyone in the 6th in NC. He currently lives with me in Raleigh, N.C. I hope that everyone feels free to get in touch. It would mean a lot to DC to hear from you.

My brother Bill Horton was in 6th Marines,
29th Marine Reinf. 1st BN.
He was killed April 1945. Would like to have more history between Aug.1944 to April 1945.
