Discovered a "war diary" of my late uncle, Bob Miller. He enlisted at age 32("pappy") and was involved in the Guam and Okinawa invasion. Was in the Sixth Marine Division in Okinawa....Artillery, maybe the 15th Marines Artillery Regiment? Doing research and have some photos of he and some buddies.

Would love to hear from anyone knowlegeable about the Marine Artillery. Learned Uncle Bob also served 49 days on the SS Virgo prior to the second invasion of Guam in 1944.
