Any one remember Edwin Shaughnessy?

Anyone remember Pvt or Pcf Edwin P. Shaughnessy? 6th Marines 29th DIV. H or I Company. My grandfather (his brother) told me he was a sniper, but how or where he was killed on Okinawa never made sense. Looking for someone to shed some light on this
