My wife and I knew Tom for these past 10 years and my wife remembers him from her childhood as the brother of the nun she was named after. Tom was in 6th Marines and was with them all the way from Okinawa to China for the Japanese surrender there as evidenced by his medals which were displayed at his funeral this last week.

Would enjoy corresponding with you about Tom outside of this forum, also. Good to hear from one of his neighbors.
