My grandfather (PFC Vernon C. Moss) served in the 6th Marine Division. From what I can garner from his military records, he was in the HQ, 3DBN, 22DMAR, 6THMARDIV. I am trying to prepare a gift (display) for his this Christmas (and trying to keep it somewhat of a surprise) so I was hoping to get some help in determining what medals/insignia to display. He served in Guam, Saipan, Okinawa and TSHINGTOA between Spring 45 and Spring 46. Here is what I have come up with so far but would appreciate any additional help and/or corrections.
