This is the Platoon Roster of my Grandfather's Platoon in 1943 and/or 1944, (30 CAL. Machine Gun Platoon, M Co. 3rd Bn. 22nd Marines(Reinf, First Provisional Marine Brigade, 5th Amphibious Corp.)Uvea Island, Wallis Island, Tutuila, American Samoa, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, Ailinglapalap Atoll, Marshall Islands, Kaginen and Namur Islands, Namur Atoll, Marshall Islands, Rear Echelon, Forward Echelon, Guadalcanal, British Solomon Islands, Guam Island, Marianas Islands)...does anyone recognize any of these names or remember any of these Marines who served under my Grandfather???? I am VERY eager to locate ANY of these Marines in hopes that they may have some information about any of these Marines (OR My Grandfather)or any of these battles they would share with me to help me with my Grandfather's Memoirs.
