Hello, My father was Donald L Allen, PFC, 22nd Marines, 6th Division, wounded on June 20, 1945, Okinawa. He was stationed at the Marine base San Diego Ca. I have pictures of some of the men he served with; however, there are no names. I am also looking for 2 navy nurses that took care of him once he was stateside. They are Helen Cleary and Agnes Reimer Larsonick. This was at Mare Island Hospital Vallejo Ca, 1945. Any information would be greatly appreciated. My father died Jan 31, 1981 after many years of suffering from loosing his leg and other injuries. Virginia, 2nd daughter.
