he was helping my daughterinlaw find medals for my dad who has since passed away (Marland Sanday) he was in Guadalcanal. they had no record of him there and they said he never got shot he was missing 8 mos and then turned up in nev and then back to where he was stationed in san diego. please email me thanks suzy
