Hi all!

I am looking for information about my dad, Richard (Dick) Burkhardt. He was in the 2nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Batallion, I believe the 3rd Division but could be wrong on that last part. I do not know where he actually landed but it seems like he may have been part of a feinting movement towards the southeast tip of Okinawa.

If any of you could give me some information or point me to a good book or website with lots of detail I'd really appreciate it.
