Looking for Don "Ox" Burks/Burkes

I have a friend Henry Harrison "Jack" "Arkie" Wells, who was in the U. S. Navy from 1944-1946 ; USNTS Great Lakes Ill, USNATS Fort Pierce Fla, Phil Tra Base Solomons, MD, USS LCS(L)(3) 74 , CO "E" 6th Med BN 6th Mar Div., Ratings held were AS, S2/C, S1/c. He is looking for his friend Don "Ox" Burks/Burkes who served with him. Mr. Burks was from California.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
