I'm looking for anyone who served with my father-in-law Clement Joseph Fitzgerald of Brooklyn, New York -- I'm not even sure I'm in the right place -- according to the letters I've found his return address was Marine Bombing Squadron 423 in 1945 I've also found "Platoon 670 FMF Training Center, 6th Separate Rec. Battalion, New River NC". I also find a Christmas Dinner menu from 1943 for VMD 154 and VMD 254 "South Pacif Area.. can anyone out there help me??
